A concept that my mathematician grandfather taught me which changed my life.
And it will change yours too.
Every person you know is addicted to the struggle.
We’ve been conditioned since birth to believe that “hard work” is our ultimate virtue
We are repeatedly told that if we aren’t exhausted by the end of the day, we haven’t given enough
But look around you for a minute.
If “exertion” was the sole key to everyones success
Then hardest-working people in the world would be the wealthiest.
But they aren’t
My grandfather a mathematician with a surgical-level intuition
Taught me a concept that makes all the “hustle culture” look like pure insanity
He wasn’t a “hard worker” in the traditional sense
But he was something much more dangerous, Intentional.
He taught me the difference between Rate of Exertion and Rate of Intention.
