Here's why clavicular has started to get acne (biohacker breakdown)

And why you probably shouldn't start to mix drugs when you don't understand the actual pharmacology behind them.

Sam Soete — a friend of mine on Twitter, and a Substack subscriber flagged something worth addressing today.

For those that don’t know.

There’s a figure in the looksmaxxing space called “clav.” The subculture around him involves using meth and other substances to stay lean and maximise physical features.

All of which I don’t actually care about.

What I do care about is someone with a large platform preaching pharmacology while ignoring the interaction profile of the drugs he’s recommending.

Or as sam says ‘why is his skin horrible isn’t that his thing’

The Looksmaxxing Paradox

The whole idea behind the looksmaxxing community is to max out all traits — including skin health. But here’s the paradox: when you use a cocktail of drugs you have no idea about, it tends to have an inverse effect. You don’t get the result intended.

In clav’s case, he now has terrible skin health. This is a direct consequence of the multitude of compounds he’s mixing together.

Two of which are well known to damage liver health — especially when stacked on top of each other.
